Salzburg Airport (SZG), officially Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Airport, is the second-largest airport in Austria. Ideally located just 4 km from the city center, it is globally recognized as the primary gateway to the Austrian Alpine ski resorts.
The facility consists of Terminal 1, the main year-round hub, and Terminal 2, specifically designed to handle the high volume of winter sports travelers.
Beyond its efficiency, the airport is home to the famous "Hangar-7," a unique architectural landmark housing historical aircraft.
Regular bus services connect the airport to Salzburg Central Station in approximately 20 minutes.
